A Story of the Future University Classroom

Individualized CACREP counseling education for each student will shift the way the information should be learned based on how the learner learns best. The learning management system will learn both through self-reporting but also learn through interacting with the learner using already established best learning practices for inclusive education. Educators will check in with learners as they move through their module learning process, facilitating deeper learning through self-reflective questions and group dialogue through digital writing, images, and dialogue.

Counselor Educators will become experts at AI (Artificial Intelligence) as it will allow them to immediately address individualized client-centered learning needs. All students will offer a final assignment that demonstrates their learning of the educational standards in their individualized assignment.

Students would also spend time in a simulation lab each week working with diverse clients through a variety of simulation experiences. Their sessions would either be attended live with a professor or recorded for a teacher to review later. Teachers would also monitor the students’ learning data as the AI LMS would offer the teacher detailed data about their learning…
